Top legislator to attend 5th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament
VGP – Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue will attend the fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament (WCSP5) in Austria, and pay working visits to the European Parliament and Belgium, and an official visit Finland from September 5-11.

This is the first foreign trip of a senior Vietnamese leader to the Europe since the 13th National Party Congress which took place earlier this year.
The tour is indicative of the country’s foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, diversification and multi-lateralization of external relations.
It also aims to affirm and promote the role of parliamentary diplomacy, particularly in current global fight against COVID-19 pandemic./.
