Thua Thien Hue, Laos's Salavan enhance border management work

At the talks, the two sides briefed on border security and border works between the two localities, including coordination in border management, people-to-people exchanges and economic and trade development at border areas.

They highlighted achievements gained over recent years such as political stability, ensured security and social order, the management and protection of border land markers.  

To improve border works and contribute to establishing the shared borderline of peace, friendship, stability and development, the two sides agreed to fully realize the two nations’ government agreements on free immigrants and unregistered marriage within border areas, border economic and trade development and cooperation and other relevant issues.
