Thirty-eight new COVID-19 cases take national tally to 3,854

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed two imported cases and 36 community-transmitted cases this morning, taking the national patient tally to 3,854.

Two imported cases are Vietnamese repatriated from Malaysia and Japan.

Meanwhile, the local infections were reported in Bac Giang (24), Dien Bien (two), Ha Noi (three), Bac Ninh (one), Ha Nam (one), Hung Yen (one), Lang Son (two), Vinh Phuc (one), and Dak Lak (one).

The national tally includes 2,393 domestic infections and 1,461 imported cases, according to the ministry.

Viet Nam experienced the fourth wave of local transmissions of COVID-19 from April 27. Authorities have tested 462,707 samples and detected 823 community infection cases in 26 cities and provinces nationwide./.
