Thai Binh economic zone established

VGP – The PM has decided to establish an economic zone in the northern province of Thai Binh.

The economic zone has a total area of 30,583 hectares, comprising functional areas such as a Thai Binh electricity centre, an industrial complex, a port area and port services, tourism, convalescence, and entertainment areas; aquatic cultivation areas; coastal preventive forests; urban areas, and an administrative area.

The economic zone aims to optimize advantages in natural conditions and position in economic connectivity, trade, service; narrow down development gap with other regions; attract investment; ensure natural safety, security; and uphold maritime ecosystem values; historical and cultural relics./.
