Ten new cases of COVID-19 confirmed, total reaches 1,202

VGP – Ten Vietnamese repatriated from Russia and Angola became the latest cases of COVID-19 in Viet Nam, raising the patient tally to 1,202.

Specifically, patient 1,193 is a 29-year-old man from Xuyen Moc District, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

Patient 1,194 is a 23-year-old man from Tho Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province.

Patient 1,195 is a 19-year-old woman from Ha Noi’s Hai Ba Trung District.

Patient 1,196 is a 31-year-old woman from Mo Cay Nam District, Ben Tre Province.

Patient 1,197 is a 51-year-old woman from Kim Dong District, Hung Yen Province.

Patient 1,198 is a 32-year-old woman from Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province.

Patient 1,199 is a 20-year-old man from Ha Noi’s Thanh Xuan District.

Patient 1,120 is a seven-year-old boy from Gia Loc District, Hai Duong Province.

The above patients were among passengers onboard the flight VN5062 from Russia. They were immediately sent to a concentrated quarantine camp in Hung Yen Province after landing at Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh on October 31.

They are being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 1,201 is a 22-year-old woman from Yen Lap District, Phu Tho Province.

Patient 1,202 is a 47-year-old woman from Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh Province.

Both of them flew from Angola to the Van Don International Airport on October 20 and were quarantined in Bac Ninh Province.

They are being treated at the Bac Ninh General Hospital.

The same day, four more COVID-19 patients were declared free of the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 1,069.

So far, Viet Nam reported 35 COVID-19 fatalities./.
