Sudan looks for closer cooperation with VN
VGP – Mr. Award Ahmed Al-jaz, Minister of Finance and National Economy, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Sudan paid a visit to Việt Nam on August 5-7.

During his visit, the Sudanese Minister met Vice State President Nguyễn Thị Doan and had working sessions with leaders of the Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Industry and Trade, and some Vietnamese enterprises.
The two sides informed each other their respective socio-economic situations, discussed orientations and measures to promote multifaceted cooperation between Việt Nam and Sudan, especially in agriculture and petroleum.
The guest showed his admiration to Việt Nam’s struggle for national salvation in the past as well as recent socio-economic achievements.
The hosts pledged to consolidate and strengthen traditional friendship and cooperation with Sudan.
