State budget comes to 15 sectors

VGP – The Government chief agreed to allocate the State budget to 15 sectors in order to effectively spend public resources for social development in the period of 2011-2015.

According to the PM’s newly-approved Decision 60/2010/QĐ-TTg, the 15 sectors include (1) agro-forestry and fishery; (2) industry; (3) transportation; (4) water supply and waste treatment; (5) treasury; (6) culture; (7) sports; (8) information and communications; (9) science, technology, and IT; (10) education and training; (11) healthcare and food hygiene; (12) society; (13) natural resources and environment; (14) State management; and (15) national defense and security. 

The Decision gives priority to socio-economic infrastructure projects for public good and important national-level projects.

The State budget will be given to localities on five criteria of population, development levels, natural area, administrative levels and supplementary conditions./.
