Speaker of Micronesian Congress starts official visit to VN

VGP - Speaker of the Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia Wesley W. Simina and his spouse have started their official visit to Viet Nam from June 5-15.

The visit is made at the invitation of Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The Micronesian delegation includes Vice Speaker of the Congress Esmond B. Moses, Micronesian Ambassador to China and Viet Nam Carl Apis and other officials.

Viet Nam and Micronesia officially set up diplomatic ties on September 22, 1995.
