Some foreign-funded projects approved

VNGOP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng agreed on May 23 to add the project "Optimal management of forestry and wattle forest productivity for high-quality cut wood" into the list of projects sponsored by Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) in the period of 2007-2008.

The PM assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with ACIAR, to fulfill all necessary documents and implement the AU $1,166,664 project in accordance with the current regulations on ODA management.

On the same day, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm also ratified a non-refundable project of "Technical assistance to operations of the Buôn Ma Thuột Coffee Exchange Center" granted with €836,009 by the French Development Agency (AFD) to the People's Committee of the Central Highlands province of Đắk Lắk. The Deputy PM asked the province to focus on training manpower and follow legal ratification procedures to ensure fruitful implementation of the project.
