Six new COVID-19 cases confirmed, total reaches 1,022

The latest include four in Da Nang City and two in Hai Duong Province.

Patient 1,017 is a 68-year old woman from My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang.

She had her sample tested on August 23 at Ha Than market in An Hai Tay Ward, Son Tra District.

Patient 1,018 is a 57-year old man from Hai Chau 2 Ward, Hai Chau District.

She is a health worker at the Da Nang Hospital.

Patient 1,019 is a 37-year old woman from Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang.

As a health worker at the Da Nang Hospital, she was sent to help Da Nang Lung Hospital in COVID-19 treatment since August 6.

Patient 1,020 is a 26-year old man from Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.

She came in contact with COVID-19 patient 996.

Patient 1,021 is an eight-year old boy in Hai Duong. He is son of COVID-19 patient 1,016.

Patient 1,022 is a 63-year old woman in Hai Duong. She is mother of patient 1,016.

The country’s patient tally includes 588 recovered cases and 27 fatalities./.
