Six-five new COVID-19 cases take national tally to 8,747

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 65 new community infection cases of COVID-19 on Sunday evening, raising the national caseload to 8,747.

The latest patients include five imported cases and 60 domestic infections recorded in Bac Giang (31), bac Ninh (18), and Ho Chi Minh City (11).

With these cases, the total number of new COVID-19 patients rose to 206, said the ministry.

The same day, the ministry reported that 58 patients were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total recoveries to 3,368.

The death toll stood at 53./.
