Singaporean and Japanese leaders show sympathy to flood victims

VGP – Knowing that the recent flood caused heavy human and property damages to some northern provinces of Việt Nam, President S.R. Nathan and Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore on August 13 telegraphed their consolatory messages to Vietnamese leaders, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết and PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng.

Earlier, on August 12, Japanese FM Komura Masahiko sent a similar message to Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm. The message reads: “… I would like to convey my deepest sympathy to all families which have lost their relatives. I also wish the injured people to recover soon”.
