Significant decisions to be made at 6th NA working session

VGP – During its 32-day sitting session, the 12th National Assembly (NA) would take into consideration and approve eight bills, give opinions on other ten ones, and talk about the realization of the socio-economic plans in 2009 and tasks in 2010.

The 6th working session of the 12 NA is scheduled to open on October 20 in Hà Nội. 

The Laws on the Elderly; Medical Examination and Treatment; Telecommunication; Radio Frequency; Civil Defense; Natural Resource Tax; and the Amended and Supplemented Laws on Education; Value Added Tax and Corporate Income Tax will be passed at this sitting session. 

Deputies will raise opinions on other bills including those on the State Bank of Việt Nam (amended); Credit Organizations (revised); Land and Housing Tax; Child Adoption; Execution of Criminal Charges, Efficient Energy Use; the Disabled; Post; Trade Arbitrate; and Food Hygiene and Safety.   

In addition, the NA will review the realization of policies and laws to manage and spend State budget in State-owned enterprises.

The law-makers will also take into account the implementation of key national projects on infrastructure construction and the administrative expansion of Hà Nội.
