Russia strengthens Strategic Partnership with VN

VGP – Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son submitted the credentials to Russian President Putin on November 19 in Moscow.

The President affirmed that the enhancement of the Strategic Partnership between Viet Nam and Russia meets the long-term demands for both sides.

The two nations are accelerating cooperation in fields of energy, oil and gas as well as working hard to complete the negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, he added.

President Putin said he is looking forward to the forthcoming visit by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
