RoK helps VN promote balanced national development

VGP – The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development for 2019 - 2024 was signed on July 17 in Ha Noi.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development for  2019 - 2024 is signed  on July 17 in Ha Noi

The MoU aims to form a cooperative foundation between the two agencies in exchanging information about the successful policies of the two Governments, exchange issues, events and achievements related to crucial policies as well as join hands in organizing meetings and conferences relevant to mutual cooperation. 

The MoU also identifies the role and responsibility of the two sides in launching activities effectively to achieve these goals. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Nguyen Chi Dung supposed that the signing of the MoU creates an opportunity for sharing experiences and bringing benefits for both sides, which is meaningful for Viet Nam to establish the next 10-year socio-economic development strategy and the five-year socio-economic development plan. 

The MPI commits to making its efforts in effectively realizing the MoU to contribute to proposing mechanisms and policies for balanced national development as well as promoting the Viet Nam-RoK strategic partnership. 

The Vietnamese Government always highly values Viet Nam-RoK relations and expects to strengthen the relationship, he added.       

The MoU will be implemented within the framework of regulations and laws in line with the two sides’ financial resources and personnel as well as international conventions and agreements the two nations have joined.
