Quảng Nam opens 4th Heritage Itinerary Festival

VGP – According to the People’s Committee of the Central province of Quảng Nam, the 4th Heritage Itinerary Festival under the theme “Heritage in our hands and hearts” will take place there in early June.

The festival marks the 10th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Mỹ Sơn and Hội An ancient town as world cultural heritage sites.

The event will be launched in Mỹ Sơn on June 4, with an art program to review the 10-year period of restoration, embellishment and preservation of the world cultural heritage sites. The festival concludes with a gala held in Hội An.

During the event, there will be various cultural activities, such as exhibitions of antiques, paintings, photos, sports tournaments, handicraft and gastronomic festivals.

Especially, two world beauty queens, Miss World 2007 Zhang Zilin and Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova, will join a unique parade of antique motorcycles.
