President Nguyễn Minh Triết to visit the US

Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lê Dũng said on May 28 when answering foreign reporters' question on the visit to the US by the Vietnamese head of State.

"The two sides are proactively doing preparatory work together. During his visit to Vietnam, US Assistant Secretary of State C. Hill exchanged views on issues relating to Vietnam-US relationship as well as the preparation for President Nguyễn Minh Triết's visit," said the Spokesman. He also revealed that an advance delegation of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry will be dispatched to the US this week.
