President hosts outgoing Mongolian Ambassador

At the reception, Ambassador Dorj Enkhbat thanked the Vietnamese leaders and people for having created favorable conditions for his operation in Viet Nam.

The two countries have progressed in bilateral relations in recent years as a result of intensified exchange activities, thus helping boost their political and trade ties, he said.

He pledged his utmost efforts to further solidify the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between the two nations no matter what position he will take in the future.

The President hailed the Ambassador’s efforts to enhance the two countries’ traditional friendship over the past 20 years.

The Vietnamese State leader said that the Vietnamese-Mongolian relations have been enhanced in various sectors. 

Both countries have signed agreements on economics, trade, defense, and security. 

Though the bilateral trade is still modest, its potential is extremely huge, the President said, urging the two sides to boost mutual support at multilateral forms, including of the United Nations.

Viet Nam will persuade other members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum to support Mongolia to engage in, Quang told his guest.

Mr. Quang expressed his belief that the Ambassador will continue contributing to the development of the long-standing amity between the two countries in his new position.
