PM suggests Lotte Group set up start-up foundation for youth in VN

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc suggested Lotte Group of the Republic of Korea (RoK) establish a start-up foundation for youngsters in Viet Nam at his reception for Chairman of Lotte Group Shin Dong-bin on December 4 in Ha Noi.

At the meeting, PM Phuc highly spoke of Lotte Group’s projects in Viet Nam, proposing the group to pour more investment in production projects in the country as well as enhance the consumption of Vietnamese goods, especially farm products. 

Viet Nam has launched a start-up campaign with 3,000 projects, including 100 ones invested by foreign investors with huge capital, he said, suggesting Lotte Group set up start-up foundation for youngsters in Viet Nam.

For his side, Mr. Shin Dong Bin consented with the imitative of the Vietnamese PM, adding that he will soon launch the establishment of the start-up foundation for youth in Viet Nam. 

He said that his visit to Viet Nam aims to accelerate the implementation of huge projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi, committing that projects invested in Viet Nam are applied with advanced and environmentally -friendly technology. 

Lotte Group has been present in Viet Nam for more than 20 years, creating 2,000 jobs with the total investment capital up to VND40,000 billion in the country. 

Since 2011, Lotte Group has organized Viet Nam’s fairs in the Republic of Korea and will join hand with Viet Nam to hold more events in the RoK, he announced, asserting that the group is interested in talent development and has poured investment in some projects in Viet Nam.
