PM Phuc, President Trump to discuss ways to promote ties

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and US President Donald Trump will discuss measures to promote comprehensive partnership during his upcoming visit to the US.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang made the remark at the ministry’s regular press conference in Ha Noi on May 25.

Hang said the pair will seek ways to enhance partnership, especially in politics, diplomacy, economy-trade, education and war consequences settlement, and regional and international issues of common concern, for the benefits of peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

The Vietnamese PM will pay an official visit to the US from May 29-31 at the invitation of US President Donald Trump./.
