PM Phuc leaves for ASEAN Summit in Philippines

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Spouse on Friday led a high-ranking delegation to the Philippines to attend the 30th ASEAN Summit and related meetings.

He is accompanied by Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh among others.

ASEAN's theme for 2017 is 'Partnering for Change, Engaging the World,' and its priorities include people-oriented and people-centered initiatives, peace and stability, maritime security and cooperation, inclusive and innovative-led growth, ASEAN resiliency and ASEAN as model of regionalism, according to the Philippines' Presidential Communications Operations Office

During his stay in the Philippines, PM Phuc is also expected to have bilateral meetings with leaders of ASEAN member countries./.
