PM Phuc arrives in Washington D.C. for meeting with President Donald Trump

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived in Washington D.C on May 30 (local time) where will discuss bilateral ties and regional cooperation with President Donald Trump.

This is his first visit to the US since he took office in April last year. PM Phuc is the first ASEAN leader and the third Asia’s leader to visit the US since Mr. Donald Trump became President of the US.

He will also meet with American officials and business representatives and attend a debate with the ASEAN-US Business Council.

Earlier on the same day, PM Phuc met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, attended the 40^th anniversary of Viet Nam’s membership in the United Nations./.
