PM orders to report on realizing ODA projects

VNGOP – On the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng entrusted the Government's ODA Task Force to collaborate with relevant agencies and five development banks in selecting specific recommendations raised at the 5th Joint Portfolio Performance Review of ODA Projects (JPPR V) and making report to the PM for consideration and decision within August 2007.

The PM ordered the ODA Task Force to coordinate with the five development banks, namely the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) and the World Bank (WB), to set up the Program of Action 2007-2009 in order to speed up the realization of ODA programs and projects, disbursing US$ 11 billion during the period of 2006-2010.

The PM authorized the Minister of Planning and Investment to approve the Program of Action within October 2007, put it in reality and direct the ODA Task Force to make periodical reports to the PM.
