PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng pointed out that the administrative reform is one three major tasks fulfilled by the Government in 2007. “To obtain a growth rate of 8.5% per annum, it is necessary to enhance administrative reform and anti-corruption”, said the PM.

According to the PM, the State organization sector should focus on checking and eradicating administrative red-tapes and troublesome procedures creating difficulties for people and business, especially in land and housing, business registration, urban planning management, document certification, notary work, etc.

In 2007, the sector should better advise the Communist Party and the Government in organizing the 12th National Assembly election, renovating the apparatus of the Government, ministries and sectors in line with the requirements of national renewal. The MIS should regulate the training and recruitment of civil servants and staff in ministries, sectors and local authorities, and setting up mechanisms to attract talented people.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stressed that the State organization sector must promote its own administrative reform to be an exemplary agency in the cause of administrative reform./.
