PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng to head Vietnamese delegation for 12th ASEAN Summit in Philippines

VNGOVNet – At the invitation of Ms. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, President of the Republic of the Philippines, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng will lead a Vietnamese Government delegation to attend the 12th ASEAN Summit and related meetings, including meetings ASEAN + 3 with China, Japan and Republic of Korea, ASEAN + 1 separately with China, Japan, Republic of Korea and India, and the 2nd East Asia Summit in Cebu (Philippines) from January 12-15, 2007.

On this occasion, the PM will also attend meetings between Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand (ACMECS).

As well as these official meetings, he will also meet face-to-face with leaders of some countries inside and outside ASEAN./.
