PM heads traffic congestion prevention committee

Traffic jam has become an urgent issue in the two biggest cities, requiring synchronous measures on planning, transport, construction, healthcare, education, and training, and special policies and mechanisms.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment was asked to establish the steering committee which will be led by the PM and include a Deputy PM, the Minister of Planning and Investment, Chairmen of Ha Noi and HCMC municipal People’s Committees, and members of relevant ministries and agencies.
