PM gives VN-UN jointly cooperative plan the nod

VNGOP – The PM has recently ratified a Jointly Cooperative Plan, period 2006-10, between the Vietnamese Government and UN’s 14 bodies. The non-refundabal project values totally US 4 million.

The 14 organizations attached to the UN namely UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, UNAIDS, UNV, UNIFEM, FAO, IFAD, ILO, UNESCO, UNHABITAT, UNIDO, UNODC and WHO.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng empowered Minstry of Planning and Investment to sign the plan, work with Government’s aid management agencies and the UN’s above-mentioned organizations to carry out the plan in compliance with Việt Nam’s laws.
