PM gives nod to Kuwait-funded projects

VNGOP – The PM on December 7 approved the portfolio of two new Kuwait-funded projects during the fiscal term of 2008-2010.

These are the projects on developing rural infrastructure in central Hà Tĩnh Province and in Pac Nặm District of the northern province of Bắc Kạn, with the total capital of US $14.2 million and US $19,050,000 respectively. Việt Nam will contribute a corresponding capital of US $2.2 million in the first project and US $3,080,000 in the second.

The PM also agreed with the suggestion to Kuwait financing a road construction project in Điện Biên Province in the period of 2008-2010.

The People’s Committees of the three provinces were entrusted to complete and ratify related documents under the current regulations.
