PM gives nod to industrial park in Bắc Kạn

He assigned the Chairman of the Bắc Kạn Prvoince People’s Committee in consultation with the relevant ministries and sectors to complete the project and pay close attention to its viability. The Committee shall have the power to license investments into the IP and monitor their operation. They are to ensure that the population be removed out of the project site and resettled down in line with the current stipulations of law.

The central budget grants for the project will conform to PM Decision 183/2004/QĐ-TTg of October 19, 2004.

The Thanh Bình Industrial Park, located in Chợ Mới District, has the full designed area of 500 ha, expected to accommodate factories in such production areas as pulp, wooden planks, and building materials.
