PM Dũng receives Lao DPM

The Vietnamese Government chief said the Lao Deputy PM’s trip to Vietnamese localities is a chance for the two sides to exchange experiences in socioeconomic development and review implementation of high-level agreements reached by the two countries.

The trip is one of activities to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of Việt Nam – Laos diplomatic relations and the 35th signing anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.

Việt Nam always treasures and gives top priority to reinforcing and strengthening the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Laos, PM Dũng affirmed.

The same day, Deputy PM Somsavat Lengsavat held talks with Deputy PM Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and attended the opening ceremony of  Huế Festival 2012.

Deputy PM Somsavat Lengsavat is to visit Hồ Chí Minh City and the three provinces of Bến Tre, Thừa Thiên – Huế and Nghệ An from April 5-10.
