PM discusses with voters “hot” issues

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc meets with Hai Phong voters, June 26, 2017

On behalf of the Hai Phong City National Assembly deputy delegation, PM Phuc acquired, discussed, and answered issues which drew much public concern including public debts, serious traffic congestion and accidents, and urban planning.

According to PM Phuc, the socio-economic performance progressed over the last one and a half year. The macro-economy was stable. Inflation was put under control. Export turnover soared nearly 19%. The stock market reached a record high over the last nine years. The Government did its best to ensure adequate power supply despite hot weather; timely provide rice relief for natural disaster victims.  

Foreign reserve was over US$ 40 billion. The number of FDI inflow and stock contribution reached over US$ 12 billion. Over 50,000 businesses were founded.

PM Phuc reported that his recent official visits to Japan and the U.S. were extremely successful, contributing to raising Viet Nam’s status on the international arena./.
