PM calls upon Australian businesses to come to VN

VGP – Viet Nam invites Australian investors to quickly come to the country to seize abundant business opportunities, said PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

PM Phuc was speaking on March 16 in Sydney at the Viet Nam-Australia Business Forum. 

The Government chief warmly welcomed Australian and Vietnamese-Australian enterprises for their presence at the forum. 

He also expressed his pleasure to witness the signing of 18 cooperative agreements and the announcement on the launching of the first Viet Nam-Australia air route. 

He was also optimistic at the future bilateral ties following the establishment of the strategic partnership and the signing of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). 

No more delays

PM Phuc took the occasion to introduce potentials for bilateral cooperation. The Vietnamese Government commits to maintaining  macro-economic stability; control inflation; reduce interest rates; and continue to reform institutions; promote legal rights; improve State administration in favor of fast and sustainable growth. 

According to PM Phuc, the ongoing reform in Viet Nam has brought back abundant opportunities. Hence, Australian investors should not miss them. “Land, natural resources, resources, and manpower are limited. Any delay may cost opportunities”. 

At the forum, PM Phuc witness the signing of 18 cooperative deals on such areas as energy, investment promotion, business cooperation, business support, aviation, maritime transport, agriculture, education, and port services./.
