PM calls for more efforts in power saving

The move aims to meet the demand for the nation’s socio-economic development, enhance the effectiveness of the State management, increase the competitiveness of the economy and ensure the national energy security in accordance with sustainable development and environmental protection.      

Service and trading centers, restaurants and hotels strictly follow regulations at localities on economical lighting and are willing to reduce electricity use when asked.

Manufacturing and construction enterprises have to launch measures to use electricity economically and effectively as well as exploit new energy and renewable energy such as wind or solar energy.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade cooperates with other communications agencies to encourage people to take power saving solutions, especially during peak hours.
