PM approves UNODC-funded project to increase capacity of legislative and executive bodies

VNGOP – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the PM approved on May 17 Project VNM/S65 "Increasing capacity of legislative and executive agencies in charge of fighting money laundering in Vietnam" granted with a nonrefundable aid of US$ 1,027,800 by the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC).

The PM assigned the Ministry of Public Security to collaborate with the UNODC to complete the project documents in line with recommendations from the relevant agencies. The Ministry will also function as the main implementer in signing the project with the UNODC and realizing the project under current stipulations.
