PCA negotiation shows VN-EU vigorously-growing relation

During the talks, the two sides exchanged the multifaceted ties between Việt Nam and the EU over the past time, acknowledging the vigorous and dynamic cooperation in many fields, particularly since the signing of PCA as a comprehensive agreement covering dialogue and cooperative relations in such fields as politics, economy and culture.

Mentioning economy and trade, Việt Nam expressed its regret about the European Council’s decision to move Việt Nam’s goods (list XII) out of the EU’s General Preferential System since 2009.

In the first round of talks, the two sides initially discussed on future structure and scope of the PCA. Both sides agreed that the next round will be held in Việt Nam in this autumn.
