Party leaders receive Vientiane Governor

At the reception, Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune briefed Trong on the cooperation between Vientiane and Vietnmese localities, as well as effective support that Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City have provided for the Lao capital in economy, agriculture, tourism, health care, education, culture, experience sharing, and personnel training. 

The Governor also assured his capital's readiness to work closely with Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and other Vietnamese localities to continue further improving the efficiency of their all-around collaboration, contributing to effectively realising agreements reached by the two Parties and countries’ leaders.

In turn, the Party leader expressed his wish that Vientiane will continue working hand in hand with Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnamese localities to further improve the efficiency of multifaceted coordination, including sharing experience in the building of the Party and political system, and socio-economic management. 

Mr. Trong hailed Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune's visit which is concurrent with the 55th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation and appreciated the outcomes of the working session between Ha Noi authorities and the Vientiane delegation, and cooperation between the two capital cities over the past years.
