Party Leader wraps up visit to Venezuela

General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh sent a message to President Hugo Chavez, in which he emphasized that his talks with President Hugo Chavez and other meetings during his stay in Venezuela helped to deepen the mutual understanding between leaders and peoples of the two countries. He was convinced that, with important agreements gained by the two sides, the Vietnam-Venezuela relationship will be deepened and stabilized. 

At the end of the Party chief's visit to Venezuela, the two countries made a joint declaration.
