At the meeting, Mr. Liu Yunshan expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) led by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnamese people will continue reaping greater successes in the national reform and socialism building.

The Party and State of China stick importance to developing the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and countries, he noted.

He said his nation wants to work closely with Viet Nam to prepare for the Party General Secretary and President of China’s official visit to Viet Nam and his attendance at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in November, the first foreign trip made by the Chinese leader following the 19th CPC National Congress.

In turn, the Party leader said he hopes Viet Nam-China relations will grow steadily for the interests of the two countries’ people as well as for peace and development in the region and the world and wishesthat the CPC led by Xi Jinping will successfully hold its 19th National Congress.

Praising positive development of ties between the two Parties and countries over the past years, he highlighted the significance of the exchange of theory and experience in socio-economic development, Party building and personnel training.
