Party chief receives Mongolian guests

The Party chief made the statement on Thursday in the reception given to the delegation of the People’s Revolutionary Party of Mongolia (PRP), led by its General Secretary Ukhaa Khurelsukh.

Mr. Ukhaa Khurelsukh congratulated Việt Nam’s renovation achievements and confirmed that the PRP, State and people of Mongolia always consider Việt Nam an important and trustworthy partner in Southeast Asia.

General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh reaffirmed that, in implementing its diplomatic policy for peace, cooperation and development, Việt Nam attaches importance to consolidating relations with traditional friends, including Mongolia.

Earlier, the PRP delegation held talks with the delegation of the Communist Party of Việt Nam. The two sides discussed specific methods and measures for further cooperation and friendship between the two parties and nations.
