Many enterprises asserted that, thanks to incentives stipulated in laws and regulations on investment, trade, and taxation, they have been able to stand firm on their feet in the domestic market, export a large volume of products to foreign markets, and generate more jobs.

The Government has opened the market in many trade and service fields in line with Việt Nam’s commitments to WTO. Ministries and local authorities have simplified administrative procedures while issuing many legal documents to facilitate enterprises’ operations.

Consistent policies on land, taxation, import, export and customs and proper procedures have strengthened overseas Vietnamese investors’ confidence in the domestic business climate.

At the forum, many enterprises suggested the Government continue upgrading transport works, seaports and telecommunication services to make their activities more effective.
