No new COVID-19 community infection recorded over last two months

VGP – Viet Nam has recorded zero Covid-19 community infections for two straight months and a British patient numbered 91, one of the most critically ill patients, was disconnected from ventilator, said the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

As of June 15, Viet Nam reported 194 imported cases immediately quarantined upon their arrival.

Out of 334 positive patients, 323 have recovered from the disease (accounting for 96.7% of total number), and there are no fatalities. On average, treatment time for coronavirus patients in Viet Nam is 20 ±7.6 days.

Among current 11 active cases, one has tested negative for the virus once, and three others at least twice.

As many as 8,792 people are being kept in quarantine, including 96 in hospitals, 7,778 in centralized quarantine facilities and 918 at places of residence./.
