Newly-established businesses up nearly 10%

VGP – As many as 6,316 businesses re-operated in the first four months of 2015, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%, according to the General Statistics Office.

A total number of 28,235 enterprises were established over the past four months with a combined registered capital of VND162,500 billion, up 9.7% and 13.3% in terms of number and capital, respectively.

In addition, 6,834 businesses increased their capital investment of VND223, 000 billion.

427,900 jobs were created in the reviewed four months, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%.

As many as 3,249 enterprises were dissolved, down 0.8% compared to the same period last year.

The Industrial Production Index rose 9.4% over the past four months of 2015, higher than the figure of 5.5% of the same period in 2014.
