Securities companies shall employ securities practitioners in line with the latter’s certificates

The Regulations stipulate that the certificate is valid when its holder works in accordance with his/her professional competence within a stock company/fund managing company/securities investment company.

According to the Regulations, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certificate Level I can replace the certificates "General knowledge of securities and stock market"; "Securities analysis and investment"; and "Analyzing enterprise’s financial report".

CFA Level II up or the certificate on conducting securities activities, on managing legal funds abroad or the equivalent can replace all other professional certificates on securities, except those on "Laws on securities and stock market".

There are three kinds of certificates on conducting securities activities: stock medium; financial analyst; and fund management.

Securities practitioners are allowed to change their certificates in line with their professional position and regulations. All of their old securities certificates must be submitted to the State Securities Commission.
