Children should be equipped with awareness of nature protection
This is a joint project between the World Wild Fund (WWF) and Việt Nam’s Ministry of Education and Training (MET).
The textbooks on natural conservation and biodiversity compiled by the WWF Việt Nam Program and the MET were piloted for two years in Thừa Thiên-Huế (famous for its biodiversity); Ninh Thuận (rich in marine biology); and Hà Nội (biggest consumer of wild animals).
The project is expected to improve students’ knowledge of ecology and awareness of environment protection.
