Việt Nam’s prestige, pride and charm will be raised through national trademark products

The National Trademark Program launched in 2003 targets to raise competitiveness of made-in-Việt Nam products in both domestic and foreign markets, formulate Việt Nam’s image of “Quality-Renovation-Creativity-Leadership capacity”, and improve the country’s prestige, pride and charm.

The products registered for the Program were seriously selected in different rounds by many State management agencies, including the General Directorate for Standards and Quality, General Department of Taxation, General Department of Việt Nam Customs, General Statistics Office, Việt Nam Environment Protection Agency, and Việt Nam Food Administration, and a large number of Vietnamese leading experts in the field of goods and services.

After assessing the market surveys, records and on-the-spot investigations, the Minister of Industry and Trade, who is also the Chairman of the National Trademark Council, decided on March 28, 2008 to admit 30 enterprises to the Program.

The National Trademark products will be labeled with the English icon “VIETNAM VALUE INSIDE”.

The list of 30 trademarks will be publicized on April 17 in Hà Nội.
