National Technology Innovation Fund makes debut

VGP – The technological renovation is regarded as a meaningful solution for the Vietnamese businesses to improve competitiveness and renew technology to produce more effective products.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung made the statement at the debut of the National Technology Innovation Fund on January 8.

Speaking at the ceremony, the PM highly valued the efforts of the Ministry of Science and Technology in overcoming difficulties to renew science-technology and establish the Fund, the crucial institution to accelerate the national technological renovation through supports for organizations and businesses.

The establishment of the Fund aims to promote the national competitiveness, meeting the demand for national development, he stressed, adding that the launching of the Fund will actively contribute to the nation’s science and technology development.

With chartered capital of VND1 trillion, the fund is aimed at promoting the innovation of businesses and boosting up the creation of new products and services.
