NASC convenes 28th session

VGP – The 28th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) was kicked off on October 15 under the chair of NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

During the three-day session, the NASC will comment on the implementation of socio-economic goals and State budget for 2018, the socio-economic development plan and State budget forecast for 2019; mid-term outcomes (2016-2020) on socio-economic development, economic restructuring, national targeted programs, medium-term public investment programs, national financial program, three-year implementation of socio-economic development policies for minority groups; remaining funds of State budget in 2017 and adjustments to Government bonds in 2018.

It will collect feedback and comments of voters to the sixth National Assembly’s meeting; 

It will give opinions on the submission of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and relevant documents to the NA.

The NASC will assess the implementation of the Resolution on pilot grant of electronic visas (e-visas) for foreigners entering Viet Nam and possible issuance of a NA’s Resolution on the scheme.

The NASC will discuss personnel work and preparation for the upcoming NA’s meeting./.
