NA Vice Chairwoman receives Danish parliamentary delegation

NA Vice Chairwoman highly valued the delegation’s working visit as contributing to strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and the two legislative bodies.

She reiterated Viet Nam’s desire to foster its traditional friendship and cooperation with Denmark, an important partner in the EU. 

Viet Nam wants to get more Danish support in climate change adaptation and legislative activities, she added.

In addition, Phong spoke highly of the Good Governance and Public Administration Reform Programme aided by the Danish Government, affirming that the programme has helped improve the capacity of Vietnamese NA deputies. 

In return, Ms Hansen said her nation will cooperate more closely with Viet Nam in renewable energy, green growth and climate change responses. 

She affirmed her will do his utmost to contribute to further consolidating the two countries’ friendship.
