NA Standing Committee convenes 26th session

Under the chair of NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, the deputies will give opinions on eight bills, including seven draft laws discussed at the NA’s fifth sitting.

The draft Laws on Education, People’s Public Security Forces, Amnesty, and Anti-Corruption, the draft Law on Animal Husbandry, the draft Law on Cultivation and the draft Law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Law on Higher Education will be revised.

The draft Law on Architecture will be deliberated at the meeting for the first time.

The legislators will also comment on a draft decree stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State capital management committee at enterprises; internal adjustments of the State budget spending estimate allocated in 2017 to supplement for the 2018 expenditure under the report of the Finance Ministry (transferred from the General Department of Taxation to the General Department of Customs).

They will give opinions on the assignment of capital investment plans for ministries and sectors and supplementation of the middle-term public investment plan in the 2016-2020 period.
