NA discuss changes to Penal Code 2015

VGP - The amendments and supplements to Penal Code 2015 were put on the table at the National Assembly on May 24.

One of the revisions is the scope subject to criminal responsibility imposed on those from 14 to 16 years old.

Most deputies agreed that people aged 14-16 will only be criminally responsible for specific serious crimes.

In regard to food safety, several deputies suggested that using banned chemical substances that can cause serious harm should carry a criminal penalty.

48 deputies gave opinions on regulations on several kinds of crimes, charges, convictions regarding national security violation, economic management, drug, environment, food safety, and others.
